For my HDFS 225 class with Dr. Johnson in the fall of 2019, the topic was human development in the family and across the lifespan with an ecological perspective. This class took an interdisciplinary approach to this topic and I really enjoyed seeing the various prospectives applied to a particular topic we focused on. For the individual project, we had to choose a topic of our choice to present on a poster in front of the class. To the left is a picture of my poster which looked at the "The Physical Effects of Dyslexia and ADHD", and as part of the project, we had to relate it back to topics learned in our HDFS class. I actually presented this project a year later to Dr. Johnson's HDFS class in the fall of 2020 for the students to get an idea of what the project is like, too!

Above are some pictures of microscope slides taken during my anatomy and physiology class at South Lyon High School.
